Cant Open Any Downloads.

What kind of files, mp3, avi etc ?

I have this problem sometimes, also on W7

I save the file, then open the folder

Clicking on the file may work, if it does not Windows will

offer you the option to associate a programme with the file type.

sorry about the delay in replying. I was able to sort out all my problems which a lot were to do with memory on c which was full.

what i did

from the start menu I allocated all of free disk space on D to its own partition

then using an external programe was able to allocate the free space to C in one click

good stuff
