Buying A New Iphone In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Looking for the cheapest place to buy a new iPhone (a real one) here, figured one of you may know of some deals around town.

It's about 1,500 baht cheaper to buy it online from the official apple store last time I checked. As opposed to the authorized resellers. (buying without a contract that is).

But you'd get hit with import tax on that wouldn't you?

It's the apple store Thailand - they deal with it somehow - any duties are included in the price. Free shipping as well.

EDIT: should have mentioned in the first post I meant the apple store thailand, not any other online apple store.

EDIT2: Also note the 7% vat refund if you're leaving via an airport that processes vat refunds within 60 days is almost equal to the 1500 baht. I think 14 something (on the 16 GB model) but then I think there's a 100 baht processing fee or something. Probably not much of a difference if you're gonna leave within 60 days.

Truemove have a promotion on the iPhone 4 and 4s although I think you have to subscribe to their service for a number of months.9250 Baht for the 4 with 8GB and 13500 Baht for the 4S with 16GB

Fantastic price but I'm not a fan of Truemove.

I got mine at AIS (Thapae rd.) with 1yr warranty. I'm happy with it.
