Terrible shame that the Dems couldn't connect with the Isaan\Chiang Mai rabble........Abi is one of the few credible Thai MPs around.

I thought he did connect but in the wrong way.

Yeah, making a connection while slaughtering is tough.

Yeah, making a connection while slaughtering is tough.

One person has mastered it.

Isn't what he is proposing to do extremely unethical?

Did you protest when Thaksin did the same thing some months back?

Beep! Wrong answer. Every blind fool would know that Thaksin speaks on behalf of the (current) Thai Govt (something to do with the commonly accepted notion that he IS the Govt maybe?) whereas Abhisit does not.

A banned politician and fugitive criminal speaking for the government? And yet we hear outcry over Newin? Oy-vei...when the rules are being rewritten as we go along one just cannot win.

Isn't what he is proposing to do extremely unethical?

.......On what grounds? Could you specify your concern?

He's in the opposition party. Should he be making such "quasi-official" visits with the purpose of discussing national matters? As he lost the election, doesn't that automatically mean he does not have a mandate for such an agenda?

Thaksin went to USA when he was (Illegal) Caretaker Premier.

Did someone not tell him he lost?

i

If you think he lost......Think again...clap2.gif

You really think Khun A was defeated.... Do you really believe he wanted to win..? Give them enough rope comes to mind..

I get it. Abhisit didn't lose because he never intended to win. So by losing he actually achieved his goal of not winning. So he won ...

It reminds me this old joke. Since he was a kid, Abhsiit always sleeps with the light on. It's not because Abhisit is afraid of the dark, it's because the dark is afraid of Abhisit crazy.gif

As I said, sadly some people have obviously permanently moved to la-la land.

Putting Thaksin and Ethics in the same paragraph is Black Humor at best.

Thaksin went to USA when he was (Illegal) Caretaker Premier.

Self-appointed Caretaker PM. He had publicaly resigned.

He never returned to the palace for his constitutionally mandated confirmation sign off,

after he had said he wasn't resigning anymore and took the job back unilaterally.

There was nothing LEGAL about Thaksin replacing himself as 2nd term caretaker PM.

He had failed in his primary duties as Caretaker 1st Term of running a proper election,

and keeping the country from going off the rails.
