My son is 6 years old with German and Thai passports. Left and entered Thailand last time with German passport which now has an entry stamp which has expired. I understand children are not held to the same overstay standards as adults. Which passport should I use to fly out of Thailand to Germany....and who cares...?.RP

If he entered with a German passport, he should really leave with it - so the immigration systems do not have him as an overstay and so he can be stamped out of the country. Personally, for my kids, we use Thai passports in and out of Thailand and Uk passports everywhere else.

Children under 15 are not charged for overstay, but overstay is noted (without cosnequnces so far)

The child should always leave the country on the passport it entered Thailand on, otherwise it will adminstratively remain in Thailand. Next time enter on the Thai passport so no visa is equired.
