Western Union Funds Transfer - Retirement Income

Recommended Posts

I receive part of my 65,000 Baht monthly income via a regular Western Union transfer. Does anyone know if the Canadian Embassy accepts this towards my minimum monthly qualifying income which is all via transfer to my bank accounts?

I have tried calling several times but have not gotten anyone who could answer the question.

Thanks for any advice.

This is just my opinion - NO it does not qualify for monthly income qulaification for a retirement visa.

Those transfers can be stopped at anytime and there is no guarantee that they will continue, unlike a pension.

There isn't any reason why they wouldn't accept it.

The source of the income does not have to come from pensions.

There is no requirement to show immigration that the money comes here every month.

All that is generally required is the evidence of a payment into your account each month, the origin has no relevance.

3 months bank statements showing "payments in" is usually all thats needed.
