December 13, 200520 yr Hi Guys and girls, One of my few serious topics... I have an immediate opportunity to get a digital camera, but I've only a hundred or so US dollars to spend. I'm at the mercy of whatever local falang tell me, but they are all, almost, gringo's, and I have more faith in the 20, 0000 people on here I've never met. What is the best quality for a digital camera, ie> make model, etc... , at a price range of 100-130 dollars. (56 pounds to 60 pounds) I'm just looking for advice, and it would be greatly appreciated. I have at my disposition right here in front of me, right now, a Philips PJ44416 Micro slim digital camera incl. Usb connection and two standard non rechargeable batteries for 800 quetzzales which is about 105 dollars. Is this a good deal, or should I keep looking? It IS within my price range, but can I get better for this price range? As I said, I have more faith in you guys and girls, as I am a part of this great collective we call tv.com, and I'd appreciate replies. My offer for the above mentioned camera stands for about 48 hours, at which point he will sell it to another buyer American tourist, for more. I think it's a good deal, but I know F.all about Digcams, and to repeat, I have more faith in you guys than most locals. Thanks for any prompt replies from people who know. Kayo, the konfused klown.
December 14, 200520 yr The Oracle says.... "no deal". Prices from Froogle Of course, U.S. online retailers operate on slim margins, and probably won't ship to Guatemala. But it gives you a general idea. Top user-rated digital cameras in the $80 to $100 range. Mac, standing in for Bambi
