Oxalic acid is a great rust remover and easy to find in the US, but where to find here in CM??

Thanks in advance......

I don't know, but you may have more success using the name "ethanedioic acid".

Try asking for both names in the chemical store on Mahidol Road, heading east, between Chiang Mai Land and and the river. If that fails, try the chemical store I can never find on Suthep Road near Wat Suan Dok.

The chemical store on Mahidol Road, next door to Sommerville. They sell it by the kilo.

It is going to be found in tomatoes as a lot! Try to eat at least 5 of them, on empty stomach, not to be coocked or proceed in any way.

And then vomit onto the rust you need to remove!

Yeah, I know that store.....it's where I buy my pool supplies and I was just in there a few days ago.....but didn't have need of oxalic acid then. What I need is to apply it to the bottom trays of my aircon units that are made of cheal, thin, low grade sheet metal and are rusting out fast. I thought that maybe someone had seen oxalic acid in one of the bigger hardware stores and maybe had the Thai name for it.

thanks for the tip......
