19 year old man shot following chance encounter with gang in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--A 19 year old man was shot following a confrontation with a local gang in Jomtien in the early hours of Sunday.

Khun Surachaert was rushed to the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his hip. Left at the scene was his friend who was riding his motorbike next to the victim’s bike when they were approached by a gang of around 10 men on motorbikes who had spotted them as they drove on the other side fo the road.

The gang turned around and came up behind them and one of them shot at the pair until they were forced to abandon their bikes and run into a nearby forest to avoid further problems. The gang then left with the two motorbikes belonging to the victim and his friend. There was no indication either man had encountered the gang before and it appeared to be a chance encounter according to Police

Hopefully when the victims are ok they can do a drive around with the police and catch these scum bags.
