Hmm, it'll be a difficult one for the judge to decide on, either she was justifiably defending herself against his violence or she snapped and lost her temper. A difficult one to comment on wholeheartedly.

Most likely she will do some time for manslaughter. Because this is Thailand, and she is poor and a whore. BTW, she wasn't a pattaya girl. The incident happened in Phuket, but the girl was from Nakhon Sawan...which is where lots of beautiful lovely women come from....my mom and grandma for starters

As a great many falangs do indeed tend to visit Phuket for the primary reason of 'getting their groove on' with a thai prostitute the odds would tend to support someone assuming that the murdered German was with a Bar Girl. Many local girls would blanche at ######ing some tourist they hardly even know when he just arrived on the island...

As theres not enough in article to say what really occured, I'm inclined to give the lass the benefit of a doubt. As more facts become availible I could be swayed one way or another. I'm not inclined to jump to conclusions before more is known, and other witnesses come forth telling they've heard fights between the two, or seen bruises or other marks caused by his or hers mistreatment of the other. If it turns out he abused her, instant karma can be brutal. If she can be proven at fault, off to the hoosecow with her.

Local hookers get very little credit from the police. In general, bargirls have very few options when they want justice. In the grand ol' hierarchy, the only people they rank above is maybe foreign hookers. I recall a case where the maid of an aquaintance ran over the leg (which broke) of an Uzbek hooker while drunk AND kept on driving. The cops were more interested in the Uzbek's visa status even though the maid (only tenuously legal immigration wise herself) committed a felony.

Don't know all the actual facts and doubt if they will be known unless his family demands a full investigation...but I do know this "fact"..two very young people's lives are devasted..he's dead at 26 and she has to live with it for the rest of her life.
