First time post from me, but after some productive information please.

I have searched the forums for Biodiesel posts of which there are many.

However, I am yet to find anything that directly leads to the legality of it. Not so many years ago there were a number of Thai farmers prosecuted for something along the lines of disbusing Biofuel that was in fact fuel mixed wiht ethynol, and so was wondering what the current outlook of it is.

Also, in order to buy Methanol from distributers there seems to be some permit requirement.

Any information would be greatly appreciated since the small Island i am on could greatly benefit from a reusable, eco friendly source of fuel like this ( everything here is run by small diesel generators),

Ha ha , are you serious.. my friend makes and sells ethanol (around 5000 litres per week) to all the farmers around his "still" , he gives the local police all they need free... No problem..! and No permit.. Come on, this is Thailand.. wake up and have fun...!
