What Does Labour Law Say About Medical Leave ?

Featured Replies

I understand the medical leave for staff who has worked 12 months is entitled to medical leave for 30 days... Does that mean if the staff has worked only 4 months, he is entitled to only 10 days paid medical leave if he has medical certificate?

(putting aside personal relationship and compassion....juz want to know the law)

I know this doesn't help your immediate question but if you are in business here and want to learn about the Thai law etc here is a picture you can show in one of the big book stores like "SEEDS" or so but ask them for the hard cover book that also includes the Criminal, Civil and labour laws. Its great reading.

dam_n I'm sorry I lost the picture now but it is just called "Thai Criminal Code" and was up-dated in 2009
