College Fees P/t 2

She's 22 and been here a month 3500 bits a month minus 500 for rent as they live above the pub, send 3000 back to her folks and she lives of the tips.

But she says she's had enough and is packing it in on Saturday.

Now the waitresses arn't bar fined but I thought I'll take her out on Wedsnesday night if can do. There were no lurid thoughts running through the small head it was just...... don't know.

Ok 300 bits bar fine so I go round at 7pm on weds and her mate says see you at midnight ? funny curfew I thought. Off into town, Mcdonalds for a quick singha sponge for me, and you can tell she hasn't been to a Mcd's before ( no bad thing I guess ) let alone Walking St.

Into the kick boxing bar on the corner and she's laughing and chatting ( she dosen't smoke or drink) just like a thai girl can. ( forgot to mention in Mcd's I asked her if she wanted to go back to school and she replied in the affirmative). Took some snaps of her and the actors ( k/boxers ). Then she want go go go bar, me too! So off to the Peppermint ( my favourite) then to k/boxing at the bottom of the escalator have a laugh with the katoeys by now it's about 11:15 so into the bamboo bar where I spot some former .. ahem.. associates but they are polite and say hi. So now it's close to midnight and she says she has to go back to the bar to work until it closes. <deleted> I thought what sort of crap is that.

So yesterday I went for an internet surf and thought of her education ( the song ain't true you do ). The bird who runs the cafe speaks good English so I got her to phone Care and tell her to pop round for a chat about college.

Turns out she would like to do marketing ( here I was thinking maybe cooking or such like ) so the chick in the cafe explains it to me ( she has a degree in business ) it will be roughly 40,000 bits for first term ( thank God there only two terms) and will be another 3000 +/- for her living ( Thailand it will be ++).

So I have written a letter of sponsorship to the college, I must add the fees are paid directly to the college and they email results and keep you appraised of her progress.

I will be seeing her later as it is now 10:30 to iron out a few things, the German might want to iron me out for taking one of his staff but he can try. Understand I am not trying to get into her pants as there are cheaper and better looking options all over .

I am 50 now never been married no kids earn relatively good money so maybe it's a pappa farang syndrome who knows.

So see what happens later today will check back on the board to see comments but its 10 bit minumum charge, see you on the 23rd.

What's the point of what you are trying to say? Are you looking for positive reinforcement that what you are proposing to do is right?

The truth is that thousands of girls all across the region are being financed in their studies by thousands of farangs. Lots of guys feel good doing someone a good turn, while others do it to get in a girls pants (and often the funding stops once they have done so). It is quite common amongst guys who don't have kids of their own, so read into that what you will.

As to whether it is a good idea, it depends on the girl. Some think they want to go back to school and then drop out cos it is too much like hard work. Some take full advantage. You have to try to form a realistic opinion of the girl in question. The fact she works hard as a waitress for not much is probably a good indication, but you never know. But if you are going to do it, stick with it. It is unfair to get her started and then withdraw half way through.

The question is: has she completed high school? What college would accept her without it?

Most likely she has 6 yrs of school...or you may have said something about it..could not beat much sense out of the original post.
