Downloading The Best Thai Music

Featured Replies

Hi, everyone.

I learn Thai language and I would like to improve my Thai language by the use of lyrics of modern and classic Thai music. But I can't find any source on the Internet. Please, if you know the websites for downloading, tell me. With best regards Dmitriy Azarov.

If you can get the names written in Thai, it's not hard to find mp3 downloads or youtube videos (often with Karaoke-style subtitles, which is great) for pop songs through google.

Posting partly to bump this topic as I've recently grabbed a bunch of Thai pop songs I'd like to use to build my vocab, but even with decent phonetic reading and typing performing word-for-word translations is pretty tedious.

Thau poppy pop songs all use the same words. You vocubulary acquisition can be done here:

Rak

Kit teung

Tammai mai kit teung

Tammai mai toh

Arai wa

Sia jai

Yahk dtai

And that's it.

Start with Bird Thongchai. He's the guy who sings the beautiful Royal Anthem in the cinemas (you will not be able to follow the anthem, and nor can thais).

What i do is download from YouTube (Thai language seaches better) and reformat. As mentioned above, plenty of Karaoke (English transliteration) on YouTube to help boost your Thai language skills.

If you can read Thai, you can find lyrics to anything by typing in the song name followed by เนื้อเพลง

Just about every song is on youtube.

If you google ฟังเพลง alot of music sites will turn up like

http://music.gmember.com/Chart

It has a mobile download button but I don’t know how that

works. I usually use Audacity to record ones I like. It can

be set up to record without distortion and background noise

etc. Can’t say I ever ran across any sites where you can

download directly without signing up for something.

,

You forgot "toraman' and 'kee mao' but maybe these are more in other songs rather than pop.
