Sawasdee khrap!

I do not teach maths, but I'd reckon to go to a local bookstore where teachers buy their books and you'll see a variety of books you could use.

Check some Singapore based publishers. They teach in English and come close to matching the Thai curriculum in many subjects. Also, if they succeed in putting together a unified ASEAN curriculum (which they are supposed to do in the next 3 or 4 years) these books will probably come close to matching it!

My school uses the New Mathematics Counts series, published by Marshall Cavendish.

I am familiar with the New Counts series. I don't believe it matches the Thai curriculum, but in the series, I think most everything is covered. If I recall, when it was used, we had to move around in the books to cover it in the same order as the Thai curriculum.

Thanks Scott, I've got something to go on now.

I've taught m1-m6 maths for 10 years now here and currently teach m4. You will not find a matching book for the m4-m6 curriculum. What we do is use a Singapore book called "Additional Maths" - this is close to the British IGCSE subject of the same name. Within this book there are a number of topics that are taught in M4 - such as Sets, functions, coordinate geometry, polynomials, matrices, etc. Note that later editions of this book dropped some important topics like Sets.

Note that Math Counts, I found, is at a lower level that what the students really need to be doing, and not so suitable for M4.

many booklets can be found here : http://www.cimt.plymouth.ac.uk/projects/mep/default.htm

However there are a number of topics that are not covered or nor really covered in depth required by the curriculum (e.g. I cover 3 x 3 matrices, inequalities with supplementary material, as it's not covered in the book.

Topics not covered include conic sections - for this I made my own booklet from about 3 text books - about 50 pages long that I types myself. Logic is also not covered in this book and I found some Logic material in an IB textbook.

If you are not sure of the topics to cover, get a hold of the M4 government books. Your school should have a set for Thai program students. You can workout what the topics are pretty easily even without knowing any Thai.
