Travel From Khorat To Khon Kaen On Saturday

Featured Replies

I am traveling from Khorat to Khon Kaen on Saturday. I assume that there is a bus that goes to KK from Khorat daily. Does anyone know the times that the bus departs Khorat for KK? How long is the trip to KK? I am flexible on departure time from Khorat, but I would like to be in KK before 4:00 in the afternoon. Are there any other reasonable travel options for this route? Thanks for any help.

There should be buses.

You can always take the train.

According to the timetable one leaves Korat 8.29 am and arrives KK 12.00

Everything here.

Wifey does this trip fairly frequently, stopping just before KK. She said there are buses leaving at least every 30 minutes. You can take a bus to KK, Udon, or any other bus heading in that direction. Most stop in KK on the way. Easy peasy.

That's great!. Thanks for the information. I will look at the train option also, but the frequency of buses headed to KK provides a lot of flexibility.

thailaw, i can recommend the train option also, done it many times; it could be still free in 3rd class too!! sounds bad but its ok really. regards
