My friend is visiting, and I need an extra bed for him. It won't be anything fancy or expensive (or comfortable...). I'm thinking about getting a camping bed, where can they be bought in Bangkok?

Maybe consider a Thai mattress ( sounds like morn -ing) I find them very useful for overnighters. You can buy them all over BKK and they are very reasonable and they do come in different sizes.

Those look neat enough. Was originally looking for something elevated, any idea where I can buy a bed like this?

Ive had the misfortune of sleeping on one of those elevated camping beds for quite a few nights...very uncomfortable if your a normal size male, go with the thai style mattresses i think it would be much more comfortable
