PATTAYA: -- A Pattaya Traffic Police Volunteer was assaulted by a man who he had earlier seized his motorbike from in Central Pattaya. Khun Gairsorn aged 31 had earlier been stopped by Khun Susakorn aged 41, who directs traffic at the Big C Extra Intersection on the Central Pattaya Road. He had earlier stopped Khun Gairsorn and seized his motorbike after he was found to have no driving license and was not wearing a helmet.

Khun Gairsorn was angry and returned later in the day and struck the Police Volunteer over the head with a piece of wood after he realized the extra costs involved in receiving back his motorbike from the local impound.

Ok guys...though we do have frustrations with the police here, this guy was breaking the law. And as you know, we don't condone violence on TV. A few posts have been removed.jap.gif

So far for the farangs, who think that only they are the target of police actions.
