Australian victim of Pattaya Beach Necklace snatch by two transsexuals

PATTAYA: -- An Australian tourist was involved in a necklace snatch by two transsexuals on Pattaya Beach in the early hours of Tuesday.

The incident occurred in front of the Best Friend Beer Bar Complex at the southern end of Pattaya Beach and thanks to assistance from members of the public two suspects, Khun Jalern aged 26 and Khun Tichar of the same age were arrested and caught with the gold necklace worth around 40,000 Baht.

Mr. Simon Michael Young aged 49 explained at Pattaya Police Station that the pair surrounded him and suggested they accompany him to his Hotel for some late night fun.

Surely anyone walking around in the early hours in that sort of area with a 40000 Baht gold necklace on show knows they must be a target and not just in Thailand.
