So here it is.

I did not intend to be malicious, nor did I believe at the time that my post would appear at all credible. Unfortunately, parody often appears too real. The post was written, as many suspected, while I was quite impaired.

After posting posting I ventured off on holiday and neglected to check the board. Upon my return I was quite surprised by the reaction. I intended to offer more of a response after admitting it was a troll, however the topic was closed within seconds of my admission.

At the time of writing, I expected little more than abuse from the usual suspects.

Instead many offered support. It is to you I am apologising.
