Went into the bank this morning to cash a cheque ,came out to find a parking ticket on the seat of my motorbike

couldnt read it as it was all in thai but the wife says its a 500 thb parking fine

she throws it in the bin ,im thinking maybe we should pay it ..........

She says :dont worry ,her sister gets them on her jeep nearly every day and has never paid one yet ........

has anyone any experience with these things ? surely they must keep a record or nobody would ever pay them ??

I stand to be corrected, but you can't re-do your annual rego of they go unpaid.

i got 3 of them about 2 years ago .never paid and never followed up either ......

the only time i pay a fine is when my licence is confiscated and i need to pay to get it back

even then ,i usually pay a smaller bribe than the fine value ......
