South China Air

Featured Replies

I am looking for a good price Bangkok - Brisbane and see that the cheapest is Sth China Air ! Does anyone know anything about them or have flown this route with them. I am particularly concerned with their safety record.

I've flown them within China, but never internationally. Planes seemed OK. A quick internet search on safety turned up nothing bad.

I did a Xi'an --> Guongzou --> BKK with them and I had no complaints. I'd book them again.

Last night a friend told me that this airline still allows smokers although i don't believe it as i am sure its an international ruling now.

Have 2nd thoughts now. I find that China South Air. ... Bangkok - Brisbane flys via China, but the fare is only Bht13190, Qantas direct Bht19000...........Thai Air Bht29000.......Jetstar looks good until all the add ons bringing it back up to Bht18500..........not worth the hassle for Bht500.

There are so many things to be careful about with these 'cheap' flights.......Malaysia Air only Bht 16235, but a

10 hr overnight stopover in KL.

Think it will be Qantas, never flown with them before and am told that the "trolly dollies" are all old slappers, but i guess a couple of whiskeys will cure that............it always did. rolleyes.gif

Check out Singapore air, Thai airways booking through sta travel is usually significantly cheaper than booking via the airlines website. Singapore have a promo for bne bkk.
