BigJohnnyBKK
My maid's niece has recently given birth to twins at 14 years old, her parter hasn't abandoned her but even together and counting grandma the whole lot doesn't have two sticks to rub together. I believe we've got TVers in Ubon that might be willing to route them out to her mooban. . .
phuturatica
Donate to an orphanage or ask around if anyone has had a baby recently. I'm sure they would be glad of your donation. If not, leave them in a bag outside and they'll be gone before you can say boo. I dropped off a bag of clothes near the bins on my way to 7Eleven and when I came back the whole bag was gone. A week later I saw about 3 people on my road wearing my old clothes. Definitely made me smile!

David48
... or there is an Aussie based organisation called Second Chance. A traditional Australian op-shop is funding school holiday activities for children in one of the poorest slums in Thailand's capital. Second Chance sells mostly second hand goods from expats to pay for various sport and art activities in the notorious slum of Klong Toey. It's now developing a so called "upcycling" program in which Thai women in need of an income make old clothes into new items - many of which are then sold back to foreign residents. Short news clip showing the shop in action ... http://www.abc.net.a...k-slums/3767572 Contact Information Second Chance Bangkok 99/101 Ardnarong Rd. I just brought back my second bag of baby clothes this year, dunno how the kids feel about it, but, makes me and daughter feel bloody great. Just to know that the clothes are having a second lease of life, and will be so appreciated makes it worthwhile. Incidentally, a good few airlines will actually grant you an extra few kgs if they know you are taking clothes back for a recognised charity.
