Is Thailand Banning/Blocking/Censoring The Following Sites?

Featured Replies

I have tried to reach the following sites using IE, Chrome, Firefox and Netscape over several days via both TOT and TTT/3BB. Is it just me or are they blocked countrywide?

If several people could try the above links I'd appreciate it very much. Please let me know what happened and what ISP you are using, thanks!

Just accessed both sites via XP, Chrome and TOT. No problems.

both sites work fine...

I'm using True Internet in Bangkok

No problem using 3BB in Chiang Mai.

No problem on CAT

Accessed both.

On a side note, I wouldn't use Xoom again, even if they'd let me. I used them to send money to my wife before we were married, and they closed my account, no reason, just "Because we can." I had been using them for over two years.

Switched to Remithome.com, and, although there is no need anymore (we're both in Thailand now, married), while I used them, they were perfect.

My (unsolicited) $0.02.

Xoom is undergoing routine maintenance.

Xoom está realizando un mantenimiento de rutina.

Xoom está passando por manutenção de rotina.

and NRA opens normally.

Location: Th

Browser: Google Chrome

Accessed both using 3BB here in BKK

no problems in BKK True

Both fine in Map Ta Phut on CAT using IE8

Works fine for me too.

Try changing your DNS settings to use Google - sometimes that helps with "blocked" sites. Search "use Google DNS"

Thanks all! Well I guess it was just me! Thanks also for the tip about using the Google DNS. I'll look into that.
