sex in thailand ???,..................who would have thought this type of thing would happen here ? .amazing , the girls seem so sweet too !

Well, quite. Until we started letting those wicked foreigners into our tropical paradise, everything was just rosy. The women were sweet and demure, the peasants obedient and submissive and all policians were honest and honourable.

If only we could just turn back the clock... wail, wail!

Never mind about this news of an Italian Porn Producer - who really cares about him or his sad wares (sic).

I would like to place this important question as my first Posting on ThaiVisa.

What I wish to know is vital for the "Comfort Level" and refreshment of all "Expats of Taste & Culture".

I can imagine all your comments, as I know that ExP's of T & C, are few and far between, especially so, in the

Heiniken culture of Thailand. Nevertheless I ask the Question !!!

Does anyone know what has happened to the supply of the cans of Schweppes "Indian" Tonic Water to Tesco,

Big C and many 7/11 Stores.

Since the "Big Flood" of BK the cans have disappeared from all the shelves except for one glorious occasion, two weeks

ago, when I saw/grabbed a solitary group of 13 cans in Tesco On Nut.

There are ample and seemingly unsold quantities of Schweppes Ginger Ale and Soda water but now, ziltch Tonics.

This mixer is vital to the well being of every G & T drinker and of course to all ExP's of T & C.

Please help.

This is really serious !!!

As his website is hosted in Europe, it cannot be shut down by the Thai police. They could block it in Thailand, but that will have to be done my MICT, not the police, so don't expect it to happen until the police get around to sending a request to MICT. whistling.gif As he is still getting income from the site, I expect that it will stay up for some time!

Interesting they should arrest an Italian Man For Porno Production, but not the ones selling the DVDs on Sukhumvit, Phantip Plaza, and 100s of other places...

True. Porn sells everywhere in Thailand and it's no uncommon to even see Thais selling movies with kids in there. Horrible stuff but apparently OK so long as Thais are doing it. Probably because one of the bigger police fish (or politician) has his hand in all the DVD sales. It wouldn't fly otherwise.

  • 1 month later...

so he goes to jail for filming sex (and paying girls to do it).

but its perfectly ok for politicians to own sex and massage parlours and hire staff to have sex for money with the public?

the whole thing is stupid!

if the politicians had websites too, then suddenly its no longer a problem.

what wonderful corrupt people run this place?

Clearly broke the law; deserves some punishment or extradition. But to use the computer crimes act really shows what a horrific law that is. It's Thailand's Patriot Act.

It's a very scary law but when you look at its source, the military junta, you should not be suprised, it's basically a catch-all act. An unofficial english translation is here

http://www.prachatai...nglish/node/117

Section 16 might be of interest to those who like photoshopping images and posting them on the web...........

Tried that link and it was blocked and even when I used certain measures it seems as thought site might be down, any other links in English to the act? Thanks!

Perhaps Chalerm's Internet War Room could be of assistance.

Although barring help from those that block the sites, it's also available here:

http://www.thailawfo...-crime-law.html

.

Section 16 basically says that you cant 'upload' an embarrassing photo (that you have altered) of another person to a website. If the photo is damaging to them, then they can use this law to punish you.

i don't really think that your facebook friends will use this law against you if you upload a funny pic of them.

- so what about the daily political cartoon in the newspaper?

Do gossip magazines in Thailand use photoshop to make some girl look fatter than she is to make a story?

are there any other ways this law can catch someone?
