My Son's Non-O visa expired this month before we can extend it. Is it possible to extend the visa from the immigration office at Bangkok.

More details:

I am working here and have a Non-B visa (still valid upto Aug, 2012)

My wife has a Non-O visa (still valid upto Aug, 2012)

My son was born here, so we went to Bangladesh and got him a visa (90 days, Non-O) which my office staff forgot to renew and expired on April 4.

Is it possible to extend the visa now from Bangkok?

Anyone can recommend a good reliable agency to outsource all the legal work (wp extension, visa extension, 90 days, re-entry etc)?

Thanks,

Try Khun Aey from from Lang Suan House (small accounting / visa service) specialising in Foreigner support tied in with the international trade chambers etc her number is +66863515277 and have a good way to fix broken / complicated issues - very reasonable prices and excellent service from her.

Believe you have one year extension of stay for employment and wife matching extension as your dependent and you want to obtain the same for son? There is no overstay fine for children so you might want to wait until new extensions are received and then get new visa for him and extension? Suspect he will need a new entry to obtain extension.

You can just try to extend his stay based on being a dependent of you. They will charge you for the overstay 500 baht a day (unless child is under 15 years old, then no fine) and might give the extension of stay.despite being on overstay for so long. But that is up to the officer.

Thanks! that means we need to go out of Thailand and come back before August when we need to renew our visa's, right?

So there's no way to extend it now from here without going out of Thailand?

As said you can try but suspect they will advise he needs a new visa entry. In that case I would wait until June/July time to get it so you will have the new extension of stay when he needs to extend (prior to 90 days after arrival).
