Bkk To Aranyaprathet In Minibus

Featured Replies

Greetings Thailand Travellers,

I was wondering if anyone happens to know whether we can get a minibus from Victory Monument in BKK to Aranyaprathet in the mid to late afternoon- arriving at the border on time to cross that same day. We would be looking for something departing Victory Monument after 2 p.m. I understand it's about a 3 1/2 hr ride (barring major traffic delays).

It appears as though most of the minibuses leave from Victory Monument early a.m., but I presume there are afternoon runs as well. The schedule seems to be, "they leave when they have enough passengers to fill the minibus" as opposed to fixed departure times.

Our main concern is crossing the border into Cambodia (gonna stay at one of the casinos) the same day - not getting stuck having to spend a night in Aranyaprathet.

Thanks.

Not sure where you are coming from but there are also busses from Mochit and Ekamai and the airport on a regular basis.

ignore nr 1=ayut 69-the tipical TV-poster, ''try to be helpful'' but mainly making confusion.

No bus from Ekamai-except the very odd single one.

From the VicMon-the minibus, they lve untill around 18.30/19.00-catering also for Aran based daytrippers to the capital. DO make certain that they will set you down at the border=salt market=rong kleua.

Im sure the ''odd single one'' would still get you there.
