My kid wants to know where is the tablet his mother told him he would have when he went back to school.

She, surprisingly, cannot understand why she is not rich. It's more than 6 months since the election and she's worse off than before it, but she was told she'd be loaded by now.

She also asked why one of the people who promised all this are flying round the World, making more false promises to the Japanese and Koreans, and another one is using private jets to go to a football matche 10,000 km away,while those who voted this lot in go hungry due to the ever increasing costs of basics.

They are normally referred to as Politicians I believe.

Definition of a Politician is a person elected to public office on the basis he wont keep any election promises and ensure they becomes richer while the rest of us become poorer

its not so bad now.... its going to get worse in the next few months as the increased salary's start to bite and they can't sell the 8-10 million tons of rice that are stacking up....

Be fair now, I said "halfway-honest" to set the hurdle sensibly-low, and had people like Chuwit & Abhisit & Korn in mind, the least-bad of a pretty poor bunch IMO.

I feel sorry for the 900,000 kids, who are about to share the OP's son's experience, and can only wonder what their parents plan to tell them ? Perhaps "But there IS No Father Christmas ?". Or "It's all the fault of the Chinese ?"
