Do They Make These In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

A friend of mine is having trouble in trying to get a 3-Wheeled Walker (UK no longer manufacture and USA not answering emails).

I was wondering if anyone knows where or if these can be obtained in Bangkok. Maybe a manufacturer could do a one-off if they do not have them in stock.

Specification:

Overall width: 26.5"

Height adjustment: 34" to 38"

Wheels: 8" x 2"

Weight: 14 lbs

Weight capacity: 250 lbs

My friend already has a UK 4-Wheeled Walker which is not easy to manouevre. The front wheels have a mind of their own when negotiating Bangkok pavements sad.png

there is a shop that sells such equipment in the victory monument area ,its in a row where most of the shops are pharmacies

i dont know if they have this exact model but it would probably be a good start

Try around Siriraj Hospital. Lots of big medical supply shops in the vicinity. I have seen many wheel chairs and walkers in the shops there.

Yes around most big Hospitals you can find in the shops that sell oxygen bottles, and other equipment, I know for a fact that in several shops next to the Central Bangkok Hospital, they are sold.thumbsup.gif
