sinbin
My marriage extention ends on 30 October. I'm thinking of visiting the UK about the same time. What's the best course of action regarding my extention ? I don't believe I can let it expire, return on a tourist visa, and start new from scratch, as I need an onward travel ticket, which I won't have. Mario2008
Try to get the extension earlier than usual, but be sure to be back to get the final approval of the extension (and get a re-entry permit before you leave). You can extend up to 30 days early and even earlier if there is a need, such as travel.
Lite Beer
If the above is not possible you can obtain a Non Imm O Visa in UK and start the process again.
sinbin
So if I go back to the UK, get a re-entry permit prior to going, and return a few days before my Marriage Extension needs to be re-newed then that will be allowed ? And are they still issuing re-entry permits at BKK airport ?
Mario2008
Yes, that is allowed. Yes, a re-enry permit is availeble at the airport, but bewteen 06:00 and 24:00 hours only! (after you have checked-in and have a boarding pass)
