I have a unique older piece of metal furniture that I would like to have sandblasted and painted...any recommendations? Thanks

How big or how complicated is your piece of furniture. Shot blasting is something more akin to larger steelyards,

If it is something you can handle yourself with an abrasive disc on a grinder or even a small flapwheel abrasive fixed to your power drill.

Its quite easy to do; most metalworkers will do this after welding steel or making metal fencing.

If your piece is covered in paint or something simple then try paint stripper/nitromors. I havent seen acid "dip and strip" baths here.

Going east on the highway from the airport towards the river. Cross over the river and get off for the Nong Hoi intersection. Go through the intersection and before you can get back on the Hwy, on the left hand side is a place called Alloy (in Thai). You can tell it from all the wrought iron work on display in front of it.

Or, driving west towards Airport Plaza & the airport from east of the river, get off at Nong Hoi, make a U-turn, and look immediately to your left.

There is a narrow dirt parking lot in front of the building (row houses) and only a couple of acesss driveways (i.e., no curb). I do not remember specifically, but I think I use the 2nd one from the intersection (on the left, of course).

If you just want to check the location and drive that way anyway, as you drive over the Nong Hoi intersection, you can see the Thai sign just above or level with the highway on the north side.

They do good work, both new to your design and refurbish/rebuild. New work is cast in Bangkok.

The owner took me through his shop and showed me a beautiful 7-8 meter long fancy gate that was built on a cheap cast iron chassis that completely rusted out. They were rebuilding the chassis in stainless steel and repainting.

The piece has 27 drawers, too complicated to do on my own.....thanks for the replies.

I remember seeing a sign for a place saying sand blasting and powdercoating in english. Go over narawat bridge heading east, just through the intersection and on the right.

No idea if they are any good though.

Does any of the places mentioned above do Galvanizing ?

If not, any additional recommendations ?

I've got a piece that needs paint stripping & coating.
