Thai Tourist Visa For An Indian National

Hello Everyone

New to this forum.

I am an Indian national who has been a resident of Germany for last two years as a student. I would like to visit Thailand on a tourist visa from Germany preferably. I've read contradicting information in internet: That Indian nationals can apply for thai visa only from India and on some other website, that it is possible if you are legally residing in a foreign country.

Are there any Indian members or their friends on this forum who have done this? Did you have to fly back to India to apply for a Thai tourist visa or were you able to manage from your country of residence?

Some nationalities require that they apply for a visa in their home country, or country of residence if they don't live in their home country. So you should be alright.

Just contact one of the Thai honorary consulates in Germany and see if you would have any problem.

I will enquire with the Thai consulate here in Germany.

In the meantime, I would be eager to hear similar experiences from board members.
