samuijimmy
What did you do, smash the old one with your carpet beater? Seems to me there are a number of small shops, between Maenam and Ban Tai , Ban Por area that sell this stuff... can't exactly place where... just look right and look left.... if I remember one sells bamboo poles too...

I did ask someone today where there is a shop, one of them is the Bamboo shop on opposite side of road to the Esso Gas Station (Ban Tai)... just before or just after... it's fairly obvious... (larger shop)....lots of Bamboo and other wood type products They don't always have in stock, but can bring it in if you order .... give that a try if not found else where! Tropicalevo
Hi Rooo If you are really stuck - I will PM you the number of a guy that I know. He is not cheap, but he has a stack-load of contacts on the island. He runs a landscaping/gardening business. He will definitely get the job done, BUT he will charge you a 'management fee'. (He covered a car port for me.) If you are really in a hole - he will get you out. Mind you, I guess that any garden centre/nursery might be able to help?
