I've heard that all bars/clubs/pubs will be open until the early morning hours on New Years Eve, and I'm hoping it's true.

hmmm.... I always wondered - if one realy wants to get a drink (or even get drunk ) - what holds him from , say, getting as much litres as he wants of those same 100 pipers, and have them all day long, non-stop, at his pleasuer at home? why need some place like bar/pub/club ? well, I can understand - socialising and such. but why do be so dependent on those places and their schedule ?

Nothing, and it's cheaper too! But I (and I don't think I'm alone in this) enjoy the music and athmosphere of places like RCA, Bull's Head etc. at least as much as the alcohol they're having. Especially on New Years Eve

Friend says her bar is open 18:00 - 06:00, though I'll be in Koh Chang.
