Confused 73 year old man found wandering the streets, taken into care by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--A 73 year old man was found wandering the streets of Pattaya on Wednesday afternoon by Police who were concerned for his safety and decided to take him to Pattaya Police Station.

The man who gave the name “Yak” to Police claimed he lived in a 2 storey house in Soi Nongpraduk which is not listed in any map of Pattaya . He revealed that he was living with his son but could not remember his name and Police suspect he may be suffering from a neurological disorder which affects his memory.

At least they are trying to help this old person who sounds like he is suffering from Alzheimer's. Better to be cared for by the police than being attacked, mugged or run over.

There is a Soi Nongpraduk in Nong Plalai, just of the 36 highway...
