1) i have just submitted all documents to BOI. because i was ill informed of the documents to bring over when i entered with my single entry non-immigrant visa, i did not bring any of my past education certifications. now the officer remarked that without certificates, it would be hard to obtain the work permit later on.

anyway to go around on this without having to travel back to Malaysia to bring it in again as it would invalidates my single entry non-immigrant visa? lets ignore the option in obtaining soft copies for now.

2) it takes a week for BOI to get done with all the documentations. while another week to submit the documents to the Labor Office for work permit submission. then off to immigration for the visa extension.

but something came up and i need to be back to malaysia in 5 days time. should i travel back to malaysia, and come in with a new single entry non-immigrant visa? or could i exit and re-entry without tempering with the validity of my single entry visa? or could i get a letter from BOI stating that i am in the middle of applying a work permit that i could travel back to malaysia without much hassles?

3) i was told to bear 'gifts' of sort to the labor office so that the process would not take as long or worst, rejected. is this bribery? or its acceptable here?

1/2. Obtain a re-entry permit from immigration at cost of 1,000 baht using TM.8 to keep your current stay on return - you use the permit number as your visa and are stamped to the same date you now have. Get your documents and take care of your 5 day visit.

Filling out form, payment and copies of passport/visa/entry. It is single entry at 1k or multi entry at 3.8k and valid until date of current permitted to stay stamp.
