2 Million Baht’s worth of Buddhist Amulets stolen from shop in Chonburi City

CHONBURI:--Over 2 Million Baht’s worth of Buddhist Amulets were stolen from a shop specializing in the religious images in Chonburi City on Monday afternoon.

The shop was closed for lunch and according to the owner, Khun Pornchai aged 49, he returned to find a steel door at the back of the shop had been forced-open.

The point of entry into the premise was found to be the roof. Despite the presence of high value items, no CCTV was installed inside the shop although fingerprint impressions were taken from the scene and are currently being analysed.
