How can I stop the pigeons from crapping on my path.

Now I know about the cd's hanging from roofs, that will scare them away, but does not seem to be working, as they are nesting in the house next door.

Any legal advice most welcome, as I cannot find my shotgun

Shotgun will make a mess of them. Use a CO2 BB or pellet gun to pick them off. Great sport and will keep you entertained for hours. Even better because pigeon is actually quite good when fried, grilled or even baked.

Have you tried to speak pigeon English with them, and tell them to f... off?

Plastic shopping bags tied up near where they sit.

But it's ugly and noisy, better to get a cat or two.
