:o I'm due to renew my marriage one year extension for the 4th time next year and I have recently moved into my own house in the same town. For the past two renewals I have used the same Embassy certificate with my former address, so I am wondering if I will need a new Embassy Income certifate with my current address, or can I continue on with the old paper. They told me due to my advanced age, 65 that I was able to use the same certificate on previous extension visits to Alanyaprathet where I live close by to that office. Now by law would I need a new certificate with my current address on it, or not? Thank you for your wonderful cooperation in the past to my questions. It's a great forum!

I do not believe the address change would be a problem but several posters have recently said they could no longer use old papers (but not sure of there age). You might want to check with the office to make sure.

As lop says, check with the office. I need to renew my passport this year and because my letter of certification will have the number of my old PP I have to renew the letter even though I'm at the same address.

I had this situation a few years ago.

If I remember rightly I just filled in the new address on the forms and it was

accepted without comment.

We had just moved next door to our own house, so it may be that no-one

noticed.

My wife's tabien bahn and id card showed the new address as well.

I don't think I ever had an embassy document to show my address,

after the immigration do come to check where you live.
