Internet Sucks Big Time This Morning - True

Featured Replies

i'm in Onnut.

websites take ages to load.

unable to perform speedtest.net.

anyone else having the same slow speed?

I thought that was par for the course with True?

In Chiangmai with TOT, it seems to fluctuate with the time of day and rain. Not much problem with outage, but slows at times. Sometimes taking too long or failure to go to websites. Its that time of year with wind and rain. All things pass with time.

I'm in western Bangkok on a True cable/DOCSIS 20Mb plan....it's working just fine to surf, email, do speed tests, etc. Expect you have a local circuit issue. Heck, up to about a month ago I would always pull a 20.4Mb speed to "in-Thailand" sites; but starting about a month ago I started pulling 21.4Mb speeds...maybe since I'm approaching the end of my 12 month contract come mid June with True they raised my download speed capability by 1Mb. Whatever the reason, I'll take it with a smile...but I would smile even more if they just kept their extra 1Mb and instead lowered my current monthly plan price of B1299. tongue.png
