howto Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Somchai, the expensive paint contractor, suggested the roof to be pressure washed, prior to painting the house. OK, so I thought... and he spent a day doing it... 30% of the roof surface was done... problem is it was not washed... it was blasted. 90+% of the color is gone, showing the underlying concrete. The roof tiles are around 20+ years. I need a recommendation for a water-based stain, and a sealer. Not acid based. Not paint. I'll try to post some pics soon. I was going to suggest to the all knowing farang to ask somchai the expensive painter as he does appear to actually know what he is doing...
