Id like to bring my girlfriend to the USA for a while to travel around and just relax for a while. She will be graduating from her Bangkok university in less then 2 months and would like to travel/visit the USA for 4-6 months before returning back here to Thailand to complete her Masters Degree.

Ive heard from friends that this can be quite a process and a hard time to get into the country. Does anybody have any advice or information that might help us get started?
