Rimmer Posted June 2, 2012 Share Posted June 2, 2012 8,000 Yabba Tablets seized in Chonburi Police drug bust CHONBURI: 8,000 Yabba Tablets, 3 guns and 1.2 Million Baht’s worth of assets were seized from four suspected drug dealers based in Chonburi District. Police Lieutenant General Panya, the Region 2 Police Commissioner led a press conference at Chonburi Police Station on Friday announcing the arrests and significant seizure of drugs and revealing how an investigation into a prison inmate currently incarcerated at Chonburi Central Prison prompted a series of undercover operations which resulted in the drugs and guns seizure and arrests of the four suspected dealers who were described by the General as “major players” in the drug market around Chonburi Province. Still no update via the Thai media on the millions of cold tablets sold to dealers by hospital senior management / procurement departments in Thailand for the manufacture of Ya Ba, also nothing further on the billions of cold tablets shipped to Thailand illegally from China and South Korea.
