August 12, 201312 yr Thank you. So I hope to find a small shop to do it, as it doesn't seem too difficult and I have found youtube videos, but I am too lazy and have no time to do it myself.
August 13, 201312 yr Disassemble and cleaning should be an easy quote, no trouble shooting required. Have you checked with Canon? My neighbor took his 24~70 F2.8 in for repair. "We-Be-Cameras" quoted 9,000 baht for the repair. Canon charged him 5,000. Their number is 02-344-9988 There is also FotoFile. They have their own repair facility on MBK's 4th floor.
