I just went looking for the forum rules, and could not find. Maybe they are clearly marked somewhere?...but honestly i cant see where.

I wanted clarification on one rule. ..but cant find the rules!

Actually, i may as well mention the rule i was looking for clarification on. ..regarding prostitution. I was under the impression we could discuss prostitution but not the specifics of it. My belief is that "specifics" is in regard to where to go, how much to pay, etc...not about actual discussion. Could Admin or a Mod please clarify, because i would like to know what is and isnt ok to discuss regarding this subject. Thank you.

18) Not to discuss the specifics of prostitution.Thailand has a visible sex industry, and acknowledgment of that fact is not forbidden. However ThaiVisa is not the place to seek or give information on this topic, regardless of your sexual habits, preferences or orientation.

Thank you!

May i ask though if it is ok to discuss it in terms of what impact it has on society or along those lines, or is that territory thaivisa prefers us not to?

No wish to start a thread on it, just that some threads end up with discussion (not specifics) and wish to comment or give my own opinion or point without going against rules. Wish to clarify if general discussion is outside of the "specifics" criteria. Understand that if it is ok, that its a fine line, and admin/mods call. Just hoping for a little more clarification. Im sure its a tough one! Sorry for coming over pedantic, just that its a sensitive topic and want to know where i can go with it within rules. Thank you again.

I think I know the topic you are talking about and I think this forum rule may come into play in that topic:

16) Not to post about gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing etc and other activities that are officially illegal in Thailand.
