The rags must find this disturbing :

David Moyes refused to start the £15m winger Wilfried Zaha once again in an Under-21 fixture against Middlesbrough at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford on Monday evening. We all know, the manager doesn’t fancy him as much as we’d have liked him to, but starting him on the bench in an Under-21 game is an insult to his ability

I'm actually surprised that ups hasn't picked up on this and has an opinion on how Utd are handling Zaha taking into account his comparisons with Lamela and taking into account how much he talks about the Lamela situation !

alfie, how is it possible to compare Zaha to an established player, who cost £26 Million + bonus, has played for River Plate and Roma, has 6 full Argentina caps and can't play in the PL because the poor soul is 'unsettled' and needs to learn how to speak English first? When you look at some of the kids much younger in the PL who are playing regularly and doing very well, it's a bit difficult to think that he's ever going to make it......geez at his age and with his background, he should be setting the PL on fire by now! Let's hope he does.

Whilst i appreciate that one has played abroad and one hasn't apart from that their playing records are similar, in fact Zaha has played more first class games so probaly more established, albeit Zaha has only 2 full caps.

So they are both 21 but Lamela was more expensive, still pretty similar records so where do you think he is going wrong at Utd ?

Incidently, could you name some of these players, obviously ones who are playing their first season in the Premier League the same as Lamela.

Now come on, he joined in January and hit the ground running in his first season in the EPL. There is no difference other than your lad started 7 months later. Totally comparable.

Have no idea mate, not really interested in him.

All I do know is that they both can't get a game.....my guess is they're both not good enough.

Coutinho, Oscar, Shaw, Barkley, Januzaj, Sterling, Gnabry, Bentaleb et al. Sorry if it's their second season, just shows how mature some youngsters are. wink.png

On that great source of factual knowledge, twitter, both Bayern and Real are preparing bids for Mata. This would be so funny as it would be another kick to the left nut for United. :-)

Edit oops.

Would be funny, but i think Mata to Man Utd is as good as a done deal.

Interesting to see how he and Rooney will line up in the team

as they both play the same No10 role.

Or does this spell the end for Rooney's Man U career and be sold in the summer?

Mata for 40M?

Never going to happen as Chelsea don't sell players to their rivals whistling.gif

Surely United won't break their own transfer record and try to buy the league. That's for us and Chelsea to do isn't it thumbsup.gif

The difference it would be our own money, not petrochemical dollars from rich owners, rather spend 40 mill on Mata than go to line the Glazers pockets.

No matter how you try to wrap it up nev, there ain't no difference. You say it's your own money but your profits aren't all taken through the turnstyles and club shirt sales. Approx 42% of your profits are through commercial global activities like sponsorships with Chevrolet. I'm not knocking it, good on ya, if you want to be a big club you have to be global. But don't try and justify that's it's ok for United to spend big and knock everyone else who does. And don't forget that everytime you fill up your tank, you are probably helping to subsidise City laugh.png

Face it, Manchester Dhabi are only a big club because some Arab sheikh with billions of misappropriated state funds fancies using them as a play thing.

Without his family's cash they'd still be a second rate team like Wigan or West Ham.

Don't you worry your little cotton socks about where our money came from Chiccy. Concentrate on having a whip round at your gaff to pay the Leccy bill. What happened, did Emirates forget to pay an instalment!!

Makes you wonder what the point of school is. Practice football everyday instead of school, instant millionaire. You might be thick, but who needs brains when you have that money.

Its obscene isn't it. Never forget his missus returning from a New York shopping trip, dripping with her purchases and trying to go through the "nothing to declare." Atleast David Beckham's a nice but dim. Rooney has always struck me as a horrid little toe rag

So, Colleen, what attracted you to to crayon wielding, podgy, balding, ugly millionaire Wayne Rooney? :-)

Sounds like some Thai farang marriages! :-D
