Nepal4me
My foreign drivers license is expiring soon, I've been living and driving here in Bangkok for many years but have never bothered to get a Thai drivers license. I have a visa which allows me to stay in Thailand so I am qualified to get a Thai license. I have 3 months or so before my license expires but I should get this sorted asap. Can somebody advise me on where I have to go and what I have to do to get a Thai license?

JohnC
Go to your local licence centre, take passport plus copies of main page and current visa, proof of residence, your driving licence, some centres require medical certificate so worth getting just in case (100 baht) depending on your original licence that's all you need, however, if they do not accept your home licence then you will have to take the written exam.
