Some give this woman too much credit, I know some think she is in the same league with the Lady from Burma but I would like to know what you are smoking Once inside the only 'mob' she was trying to blame was Democrat MP's, who have been trying to be allowed to SPEAK in Parliament. That is the main statement she made. The only protestors outside Parliament were HER BACKERS, the Reds, who CHEERED HER. What if that bill would state that all gay people in Thailand should be executed, or all Issan Thais castrated? Would you call people demonstrating against this hooligans as well? According to your logic an elected government can do whatever they want, they can change the constitution, the laws, etc..! The next amendment might implicate that all foreigners residing in Thailand will have to wear yellow stars on their shirts! All in the government's right according to you! There is a clear and fine line between executing democratic rights and a full blown revolution or civil war. Do you recall when she was criticized for speaking too long, because she spoke for 2 hours straight, delivering a speech that ran 44 pages? So much energy, time, money and effort wasted over Thaksin. Yellows created the situation of making his stature somewhere between hero and martyr. The more yellows fight, moan and groan, the more powerful he actually becomes when he comes back. Easy psychological concepts and common sense I don't agree the "yellows" created a Thaksin as hero / martyr, to the democracy-movement ("yellows") he is a convicted criminal who ran away, pure and simple. The hero-martyr thing is by the redmob who find his billions of baht strangely alluring. Its amazing the power a multibillionaire can hold over people who don't have anything, isn't it. What a surprise. I agree that "time money and energy" wasted on Thaksin - but can you make the logic-leap to understand that it is the "redmob/PTP/Yingluck" chimera that has dragged Thaksin back into the limelight and centrestage and thus it is the redmob who are wasting time, money and energy - which I will agree with you on. I assure you that I do 'get it', and refuted your point by saying (to paraphrase) the democratic movement merely view him as a convicted criminal who should face his custodial sentence under the law. That does not equate to the democratic-movement turning him into a hero or a martyr, it just makes him into an erring citizen recieving the punishment from the state for his crimes.
