On the form MN1 for Children registering as a British Citizen, it states 6.3 if only one parent has signed the form please state why and Include supporting documents see page 26 of the guide, How ever in the guide it doesn't say what documents are required ??

Has anybody recently applied for there step children's citizenship and not included a sole responsibility document for their mother and been successful ?? As it clearly doesn't ask for one, seeing as they would never have been granted a ILR without this document in Bangkok so the question I'm asking is do you need the Sole Responsiblity Document or not with the application, as this document we do not have in our possession now??? Help needed on this one !!

Sorry, forgot to add we do have birth certificates that show all my wife's children with her surname and all passports are in her surname also, so would this be sufficient ??
