Flaxseed Oil, Is There Anywhere In Thailand I Can Buy It?

Featured Replies

I like to use it in my banana smoothies, not only for the health benefits but also the flavour.

The last stock I brought back from Oz is all but gone and no intention of returning too soon.

I have found flaxseed oil capsules...but I am after the actual oil.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers.

It is not hard to find in Chiang Mai. Several health food stores sell it in the refrigerated section and it is made locally.

Villa in Bangkok had some kind of shelf stable nitrogen packed metal flasks a few months ago. It was pricey, like 1200 baht or so if I remember right.

Thanks Ulysses G. and ricklev, maybe I should've been more location specific, but good to know if I get up to Chang Mai, then I can stock up.

I live in Ratchaburi province and we do most of our farang food shopping in Hua Hin.

In BKK I've only really looked in Robinsons and there is a health food shop downstairs where I saw the capsules but no oil.

Cheers.
