June 18, 201214 yr I'm looking for a good tattoo artist in BKK; I'm talking about quality/realistic tattoos. Price is not an issue if the workmanship is great. Asian/Thai designs are what I'm interested in. Will post field report and pics once I find a good place.
June 19, 201214 yr I had one done in a small shop on Patpong 1. Good service, good work, nice guy! His name is Billy and the shop is on the left side, right after 7eleven , when you enter from Sala Daeng.

June 19, 201214 yr http://www.facebook.com/tattoogirlm.mameaw Not only good at Tattoo's it's nice to have some eye candy to look at while enjoying your pain.
June 20, 201214 yr If you go to the Mall Bangkapi, there is a market right beside it called Tawana Market. There is a stretch of about 15 tattoo shops on the outside that showcase their work. The price is very reasonable and they also will go to your hotel/home if you want the tattoo done there. Check it out, and check out the work of the tattoo artist before deciding on who to go with. I like this place because there are many options to choose from.
June 20, 201214 yr Two words: Jimmy Wong. Internationally recognized. I got a tattoo by his daughter, she is also good. They both have shops on Soi 5 opposit Gullivers.
June 20, 201214 yr Given your post heading "Tattoo Palour"...you may want to get a spell check if you plan to get lettering done... Is Joy back from Singapore? She had been gone a long time and Jimmy is random with his working hours and appointments.
June 20, 201214 yr Theres a great guy I use for intricate Thai designs, I have two top half arms done by him. Between Soi 11 and 13 Sukhumvit, walk through past Villa market towards Soi 13, through the Ambassador, then there is a side street, on the right side are a couple of massage places, on the floor above there is Chai.
June 20, 201214 yr Given your post heading "Tattoo Palour"...you may want to get a spell check if you plan to get lettering done... Is Joy back from Singapore? She had been gone a long time and Jimmy is random with his working hours and appointments. Couldn't remember her name, but yes, it should be Joy. No idea if she is back, I got the tat done a year ago. For Jimmy, even if his shop is closed, you can call his mobile during the day and he will often come down and open up for you.

June 21, 201214 yr I can say Jimmy Wong is just amazing when it comes to large color tats. His daughter is around as well and is good but Jimmy is just another world of experience. As people said though hes random with his times. Just go get his phone # off the door on soi 5 and call him. He will work around your availability. Edited June 21, 201214 yr by glbv
